Responses carry `Vary: Accept` so caches keep the HTML and markdown variants separate.

## Authentication and limits

The read endpoints are public and require no authentication or API key. They are cached at the edge for one hour. `POST /api/v1/contact` is rate limited to 5 requests per minute per IP address and returns `429` with a `retry_after_seconds` hint when exceeded.

Every API error is JSON, never HTML:
